Rotary Forging
Rotary forging works a billet incrementally rather than all at once, so a smaller press force produces the same deformation.
Working cold strengthens the material as it forms and leaves grain flow following the finished shape, which is why it is better to forge a structural part rather than machine it from bar.
Less of the billet ends up as chips, which matters for titanium and Inconel, where the raw material accounts for most of the part cost.
